Choosing the right domain extension doesn't have to be that daunting after all. Focus on what you want your website to be about: A blog? A store? Or a company website from a specific industry?

For all these possibilities, there are generic top level domains (gTLDs) that make it easier for your visitors to find your website. They are characterized by containing three or more letters after the dot.

TLD

.blog

.store

.team, .sport, .club

Sports club

.family

Family website

.email

Memorable e-mail address

.swiss, .zuerich

Local presence

.digital, .online, .tech

.design

.events

.social, .community

.global

.charity

.game

If you want to register a generic TLD for a company, you can also use a city-specific TLD such as .zuerich. If you particularly want to emphasize Swissness, then .swiss would be the ideal TLD. Specific requirements apply in each case.

Interestingly, popular TLDs often have a different background than expected:

.io

.it

If you would prefer to stick with the classic TLDs .ch or .li, you can also benefit from our quantity discount of up to 20 percent.
