Which websites can I migrate?
In principle, any website created with HTML, PHP and MySQL can be moved. These include common applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and TYPO3.
In most cases, websites created in-house are also no problem.
What requirements do I have to fulfill for a move?
Website
1. The website must still be accessible or available at the previous provider.
2. You can establish a connection to your current web hosting via a login.
3. The website is compatible with our supported PHP versions.
Email transfer
In this case, it is important that the inbox can be accessed via IMAP.
Attention: Unfortunately, POP3 accounts cannot be moved.
How much does the migration service cost?
New hosting
When you order a new web hosting, we will migrate one website and 25 email addresses for you free of charge within the first 30 days. We charge CHF 5.- for the migration of each additional email address.
Existing hosting
Migrating a website including 10 email addresses to an existing web hosting costs CHF 90.-. We charge CHF 5.- for migrating each additional email address.
Can I migrate my website from another site builder?
Although websites from providers such as WIX, Jimdo, Squarespace or other hosters often cannot be migrated and transferred directly due to system-related restrictions, we are happy to check the options for migration on an individual basis.

We also offer you the opportunity to use our Website Builder to design a new, modern website including a web shop or to switch to a popular CMS such as WordPress or Joomla.
Will there be an interruption to services during the migration?
Your website and email service will always remain accessible when you move.
Do I have to cancel my contract with the previous provider myself?
Yes, unfortunately we cannot do this for you. We ask you to cancel your previous hosting at the latest after the move in order to avoid double costs.
